Elementary School Level

English:
In English Enrichment Class, emphasis is on review and reinforcement of Language Arts Skills taught on the student’s grade level. Students are taught test-taking skills which prepare them for State-Mandated Competency and Achievement Tests in English (E.L.A., Terra Nova, ITBS). The children engage in activities which serve to strengthen their Reading, Writing, Grammar, Vocabulary, Spelling, General Knowledge, and Research Study Skills. The main objective is for students to perform above grade level at the completion of this course.

Math:
In Math Enrichment Class, the students will go through a series of activities which will help prepare them for State-Mandated Competence and Achievement Tests. They use different materials from books as well as hand-out sheets and work closely with the teacher. Their materials will vary depending upon the grade level of the student. The students will work on basic skills which will help them to pass the exam as well as excel in school.

Middle School Level

English:
In the middle school level, the students will be working on skills that will help them to build their vocabulary, grammar, reading, and writing skills for their levels. Concentration and attention is given to building correct phrases and sentence structures, moving the students out of the elementary stage and transitioning them to a higher level of English.

Math:
This course is dedicated to teaching middle school children the skills they need to know for division, multiplication, problem-solving, and other skills they will cover throughout the school year. By the end of the course, the students will have gone beyond what they learn in school and can help them to apply math in a more universal sense.

High School Level

English:
In the high school level, students will be challenged with a more rigorous school curriculum. The English course will help them with their essay-writing skills, vocabulary, grammar, and reading comprehension at the high school level. These skills that they learn will become useful in applying to colleges, state exams, and understanding how English can be used and applied in multiple areas.

Math:
This course follows along with the high school math curriculum which includes Math I, II (Math A, B), pre-calculus, and calculus. Students will study the skills they need to know in order to master their math levels in the classrooms at school. Materials used in this group class coincide with the math levels the students are in. Strategies and problem-solving skills are taught to maximize outcome.
