Long Island Conservatory (LIC) consists of internationally trained faculty members who have obtained their Master’s and Ph.D. degrees from world-renown institutions. LIC has become one of the most professionally developed performing music schools on Long Island. Over 5,000 students have graduated from our programs, many of whom continue to pursue careers in music.

With our small but distinguished student body and intimate classes, LIC greatly enhances each student’s individual creativity. We guide and instruct students on a personal level so that they can reach their highest potential. Each year, we select a few outstanding students to participate in prestigious music festivals, where the most talented young musicians from all around the world perform and compete with one another. In addition, we are in the process of organizing international music competitions to offer our students the opportunity to broaden their perspectives and compete at the highest level.

LIC’s ultimate responsibility and goal is to foster the finest young professionals who will be recognized wherever they perform as musicians.

Mission Statement The Long Island Conservatory creates a Music Based Program of education and performance that will empower our community learners in an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust. Every student will be motivated and challenged to take part, learn, grow, and accomplish academic, social, and vocational goals. Its graduates will be instilled with integrity, knowledge  and intellectual maturity to become leaders.  LIC will provide a unique educational focus by emphasizing performance related skills, allowing our student to participate in the community arena at an earlier time, while not sacrificing knowledge.  We are dedicated to the individual.
